This is a new kaleidoscope "Peacock" by Yoshiko and Takeo Matsumoto. The body is uniquely created with the sagging glass technique. The plate glass is formed into a tube in a kiln, a process called "sagging". It produces very unique patterns that look like peacock feathers.
The glass body is divided into two parts; the tube that contains the mirror system and the top part that contains an object cell. The top part rotates very smoothly with a bearing.
Inside you will find a mesmerizing 9 point mandala in beautiful green, white and blue. Mirror System: 2 Mirrors 9 Point
Liquid Cell / Rotating End
