Jun Kojima and Rika Kita's kaleidoscopes are original collaboration works. Rika Kita's ceramic offers variety of patterns and colors. Trees and small flowers are carved and painted on the pale green tube of the "Charme", which means "charm" in French .
Kojima uses a perfect mirror system and a unique choice of glass objects to create internal images, usually from within a liquid cell.
This "Charme" is, however, unusual in that the object cell is a dry type, and instead of liquid, there is a flowing fine beads movement. In this movement, the viewer enjoys the full field of vision created by the glass objects and shiny beads.
3mirror system. Dry cell. No turning end.
