Crystal Garden Shirokane "Sakura parfait" - glass kaleidoscope -

Crystal Garden Shirokane is a studio where Mitsuru and Yuriko Yoda as well as talented younger artists are creating kaleidoscopes.

"Sakura parfait" is a tiny kaleidoscope with a cherry blossom pattern sandblasted on the light purple glass body shaped like a parfait glass.
The mirror system is an "open" 2-mirror system, leaving the 3rd side open. Light enters from the open side through the light purple glass body and reflects the outer color and pattern around the central image.
The lampworked glass objects are very small and full of variety, creating intricate as well as rich images through the glass tube.
35mm diameter, 115mm length.   Dry cell scope. No turning end.
