Teleidoscope is a kaleidoscope without object cell.  Instead it has a crystal ball in front of the mirror system.  You will see what you are pointing as kaleidoscopic patterns. With your move the images change dramatically and unlimitedly.
What is unique with Hosono's teleidoscope  is mirror system.  This one has narrow angled isosceles triangle mirror system and it shows intricated patterns. The central pattern shows 13 point 3mirror images.
